Who We Are
Steven is Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency and developing a more seamless approach to bringing all of our diverse capabilities to our clients.
Steven’s extensive experience in industrial chemicals, polyester fiber, PET resin, and PET recycling gives him a unique perspective on the entire polyester chain. His broad expertise includes technical sales, polyester production, raw materials negotiations, and global business management.
Steven, along with Patrick Bouzekri, focuses on our World Polyester Analysis (WPA) program, conducting thorough analyses of the entire polyester value stream.
Steve is Vice President for Strategic Environmental Analysis (SEA) with 30 years of PET and copolyester expertise. A leader in sales, commercial leadership, marketing, and technical roles, Steve heads "single client study" projects, collaborating with other SBAcci team members to address PET industry challenges. He also partners with John Maddox on monthly PET recycling industry reporting and is recognized for his ability to provide creative solutions to complex situations.
Patrick is Executive Vice President for Europe, Middle East, and Africa and brings decades of FMCG experience, specializing in bottled water. With expertise in PET resin, preforms, and containers, he leads International Business Development and expands our World Polyester Analysis (WPA) program. Patrick's procurement insights provide a fresh perspective, enhancing our understanding of global polyester dynamics.

Patrick also maintains our Global Beverage Analysis (GBA) program which balances beverage consumption with PET resin requirements in over 100 countries including an in depth understanding of recycled PET.
John has 40 years of expertise in the PET industry from resin production and container manufacturing to market analysis, John focuses on supply/demand, end-use applications, and commercial aspects of PET resin and packaging for our Resin & Container Analysis (RCA) program.
Broadly, SBAcci is a dedicated team covering the entire global value chain, excelling in recycling, technology, feedstocks, resins, and packaging.
